How do you compete?
I’ll tell you what you don’t do, you don’t go out there and start telling anyone that will listen how you are the best thing since sliced bread, that your product or service blows everyone else out of the market.
That they really must STOP what they are doing and listen to you.
That marketing approach is old hat, it’s annoying, yes you’ve interrupted them and you have their attention but your conversation is so off base, and unrelated to what they were doing that the best result you could hope for is a transaction and that won’t help you build a growth business with repeat customers.
It’s actually much simpler than that.
Start by caring more about their problems, listen to them, build relationships, become genuinely interested in their lives and earn the right to talk to them about your solution.

Ask questions, get to know your ideal client, their hopes, dreams, fears, and problems.
Sometimes you have to slow things down to speed things up.
Spend more time listening and less time talking. It’s why we have 2 ears and 1 mouth. It’s also much more of an abundance mentality and less of a scarcity driven way of doing business.
