It’s 1 September 2015, so that means that there are 122 days until 1 January 2016. Which means that now is a good time to start thinking about Goal Setting for the New Year…
With the sad passing of Dr Wayne Dyer this weekend, a man who has written over 30 books, created numerous audio program’s and dedicated most of his adult life to spreading the message of Love.
“When you’re at peace with yourself and love yourself, it is virtually impossible to do things to yourself that are destructive.”
Amongst other things he has also taught us the power of the “I am” statement, and that if we can change the way we look at things then the things we look at will change. That we are not our bodies we are souls having a human experience, and that the state of our life is a direct reflection of what we choose to think.
“Each experience in your life was absolutely necessary in order to have gotten you to the next place, and the next, up until this very moment.”
I am reminded again that our time is our life, how we choose to spend it, what we think, and the results that we get are all within our control.
I had another plan for this blog today, but out of the most profound respect for a soul who has changed the ethos of the planet both within his lifetime and for many years to come, I want to thank him for his contribution and acknowledge the impact that he has had on my own life. His work on the Tao Te Ting has had a profound effect on me. The story about the scurvy elephant resonated on such a deep level and has cemented in me the burning desire to be a speaker, it has started me on that path of standing out and learning how to share my message…time is your life!
I am sure that over the coming months and years a great many stories surrounding the change that he has been in the lives of so many will transpire. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this time.
Thank you Wayne Dyer, you truly lived, loved and contributed!
Gone but never forgotten xxx
